You still see the square shape out of it.
Good colors and impression, fair to good overall condition.
Notes: This print belongs to a highly sought after series of 10 prints called the Famous Views of Kyoto. This series is similar in format / shape / Time frame with the Hoeido Tokaido series.
Just like in the Hoeido series, every first state of the prints from this series have the black Kiwame seal printed in the left margin (Or right margin for a couple of prints from that series), the same very thin Edo paper... (As opposed to many later / posthumous impression of this print, that bears a large blue seal on the right margin (if any), although they have been referenced in many Museums as originals from 1834, they are in fact later edition)
Pictures: Pictures are taken outdoor, in the shade, to reflect true colors, without any enhancements of any kind. The last picture is taken indoor, with a light behind the print, to reveal the exact paper grain, holes if any, or other possible flaws.
All our prints are guaranteed Authentic and Originals
