Date of this edition: 1847

Condition: The scroll is trimmed. It does not have the upper and lower borders, or the rods. It was previously mounted and framed. The print section has some creases. The lower section of the border shows some water damages on the back. Good overall condition.

Notes: This print is absolutely fantastic. It is a paper scroll, not a silk painting scroll. There have been a few similar version made of this print, such as the red Choki exposed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art HERE

Provenance: Purchased from Sotheby's New York, 7 May 1982, lot 157A -

Pictures: Pictures are taken outdoor, in the shade, to reflect true colors, without any enhancements of any kind. The last picture is taken indoor, with a light behind the print, to reveal the exact paper grain, holes if any, or other possible flaws.
